Here is a dream come true for every young
girl who wants to be a ballerina. First you meet choreographer/ballerina
Jamie Leverett coming off stage with a bouquet of roses
in hand. Then you (the camera) are invited backstage
to the dressing room where she asks you to come to the studio
the next day.
|
|
The following morning Jamie takes her
new student (the viewer) to the dance studio where
they begin lessons, learning the basic ballet warm-up exercises
and positions.
|
The teacher tells her viewer that she
is preparing to take part in the Nutcracker...and gets
the idea to invite her student to be part of it too. She
teaches her the part of a Snowflake.
|
|
When the big day arrives and just before
the curtain goes up, Jamie whispers to her pupil that she
looks wonderful. The curtain rises and the young viewer
can now spin and dance, taking part in this wonderful production
of the Nutcracker Ballet.
